“Like the forensic lab in which it's set, Oriol Paulo's debut, "The Body," is darkly fascinating, full of secrets and highly polished…”
- Variety

“Currently even the most mainstream of blockbusters can’t resist packing breakneck twists and turns into their narrative, so writer/director Oriol Paulo’s The Body comes as a refreshment... It’s a great, simple premise, and one that’s wrung for all it’s worth”
- This Is Horror

“After “The Others” and “Orphanage,” Hollywood all but ceded the genre of credible, chilling ghost stories to Spain. And deservedly so. To cast its spell, a ghostly tale must take its time, build from recognizable reality to some moment when the incredible becomes credible. Spanish cinema still gets this. “The Body” is a new entre from Espana, a creepy thriller about a murder, a missing corpse and the investigation that corpse seems hell-bent on helping solve”
